Jon is a native of Logan County, Kentucky and a graduate from Logan County High School, in Russellville. He graduated from the University of Kentucky, at Lexington with a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Economics with a Minor in Business Management. He is a 2015 graduate from the Nashville School of Law. While in law school, Jon was a scholarship recipient, and NSL representative to the 2014-2015 Harry Phillips American Inn of Court.
After graduation, Jon began his solo practice in Springfield, Tennessee at the Law Office of Jon T. Graves. His practice focused primarily in the areas of litigation which included Criminal Defense, Probate, and Family/Domestic. He is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyer’s (TACDL) Robertson County (Tennessee) Bar Association, Montgomery County (Tennessee) Bar Association and the Tennessee Bar Association.
Since joining the firm as an associate, Jon’s practice has been primarily been Real Estate, both litigation and transactional, Secured Transactions, Landlord/Tenant, Estate Planning, Probate, Contract law, and Corporate/Business law. Jon has an extensive history in the real estate profession. Since serving as a Tennessee Realtor and Auctioneer through his family owned business, Jon brings in depth knowledge to the Batson Nolan family by assisting clients with their real estate needs.
In addition to his practice, Jon is very active in the Robertson County community. A member of the Robertson County Chamber of Commerce, in which he is a graduate of Leadership Robertson County 2017. Former member to the Springfield Kiwanis Club. He is also a member to the Tennessee Auctioneers Association and the Robertson County Association of Realtors.
Jon married Grace Graves in 2012, and they welcomed a son in 2016. As current residents of Robertson County, they attend the Springfield Baptist Church. Jon has a passion for agriculture, and enjoys spending time with his wife and son on the Graves family farm where he owns a cattle operation, in which he is partners with his father and brother.
