About Kyle

If you ask Kyle Roark why he became a lawyer, he’ll tell you it’s because he enjoys the challenge. “My favorite part of practicing law is encountering complex situations and finding solutions for my clients,” says the Kentucky native. ‘I find it both challenging and fulfilling to use the skills I have developed to provide zealous representation for my clients.”

Indeed, Kyle’s competitive nature drew him not only to law but to litigation, a field that often relies on passionate representation. “Naturally, I am a competitive person,” says Kyle. “During law school, it became clear that my competitive spirit caused me to gravitate towards that field due to the adversarial nature of litigation.”

Passion for Ligitation

Born in Kentucky and raised in Greenbrier, Tennessee, Kyle attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington. He channeled his competitive energy into his studies, a fervent fandom of the Wildcats, and politics. The Political Science major interned at the US House of Representatives for Congressman Harold Rogers. He later interned and the KY State House of Representatives for Rep. Stan Lee. During this time, he also balanced leadership roles in his Kappa Sigma fraternity.

After graduation, Kyle attended Salmon P. Chase College of Law in Northern Kentucky. While in law school, Kyle was a litigation law clerk. Here he practiced in the areas of personal injury and worker’s compensation and discovered his true passion for litigation. He also served as his school’s Vice President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society. In addition, Kyle founded the Criminal Law Society and was a member of the Federalist Society.

Kyle has taken both the Tennessee Bar and the Universal Bar Examination and can become licensed in all UBE states in the region. Currently, Kyle is licensed to practice law in Tennessee and Alabama. Kyle’s goal for the future is to continue to develop his Personal Injury practice. He also hopes to and mirror the Insurance Defense work that is the majority of his current focus. He wants to ultimately deepen his relationship with the community and local Tennessee attorneys and be considered a trusted mediator.

Kyle’s love of competition extends beyond law to his hobbies as well. A die-hard college sports fan, Kyle can usually be found cheering on his alma mater Kentucky Wildcats, the Tennessee Titans, and Nashville Predators. In his free time, he can usually be found at a bluegrass or country music concert. He also enjoys spending time outdoors with his fiancée and two dogs, Zeus and Max.
